It sounds funny when I say that “Winter has come to Saigon lately”. However, it’s true, at least for me. After 2 days non-stop raining, this morning, I woke up with frozen feet, even I was wearing a knitted-coat and had my blanket on. It seems that I got cough already. damn it.

I hate the coldness, but somehow, feel attracted to it, also. People said, they feel lonely more frequently in winter, yep, so do I.

It reminds me the time I was in Perth. Like in other states, WA also have 4 seasons a year, but the point is, it has sun shinning all time, even in Winter. That’s why they call it the brightest state in Aussie, I guess.

The winter in WA falls on April to August, sometimes sooner, sometimes later. However, we could say it has 4 seasons during a day, as well. In the morning, that’s spring. It’s abt 15-20 degree, you could wear a shirt with a cotton  trousers to school and a silk scarf. Then, it goes up to abt 19-26 degree with hot sunshine from 10 noon to 2 pm. Now, you could people wear tank top with short everywhere like in summer (Haha, don’t blame me, it’s Aussie style) But not up to 3pm, because sine there, you need a hoddie or maybe a cardigan on as you have in Autumn. And at night, it sometimes gets lower around 0-3 degree. Now, it’s winter, real winter, you need the heater on and are wrapped in blanket :-)

I love winter in Perth, where I always see at least a shining day among long gloomy days and I had never felt so lonely. Something like I always know that it will be a warm day next the a cold day, then I could self-courage to wait :)

In winter, I love walking alone in my uni with a long knitted scarf, my hoddie, Jeans and my Converse shoes on, especially, in gloomy days. Most of the time, I toke a sit somewhere under the trees or in a 6th floor of our library and read books, ignore everyone.

When it got colder, I felt I need to smoke to keep me warm (even it’s not true, I think). In WA, we could find girls smoking easier than guys, so it’s not weird if I take one. Did I ever mention that I hate people smoking becoz I hate to see the loneliness flooding them? Yup, I hate smokes badly, it makes me sick but, in winter, I don’t know why, sometimes, I tried to sit next to a smoking girl at school. Then, I closed my eyes and felt I touch my dream - a dream with a familiar face wrapping me in his hands.  

But you know, dreams are dreams, dreams never come true.
